Premier IITM
Remote Control Cables -- MAR-CABLE-XX-SC
These Genuine PowerMatchedTM
Premier IITM
remote control cables are unlike any other cables on the water.
They're perfectly matched to your Yamaha outboard and its
controls. Features:
- A stainless steel
core with special nylon covering using plastic-on-plastic
technology that increases cable performance
- A splined inner core
for ultra-low friction and reduced end play
- A 45% reduction in
cable friction (vs. standard marine cables) for smoother
operation
- A 4" bend minimum
radius offers superior flexibility and easier rigging
- Stranded core wires
increase strength and resist kinking
- Exposed metals are
stainless steel to help protect against corrosion
- An
ultraviolet-stabilized jacket resists cracking and water
migration to the core
- Factory-installed
anti-corrosion materials extend the life of the cables
- Wide selection of
lengths available (4'-40')
NOTE: When determining the correct cable
length for your application, be sure to add the distance from
the center of the engine to the bilge area through the rigging
tube, from that point to the gunnel (usually starboard) where
the cables will run to the console, the length of the gunnel or
rigging tube, and the distance from the gunnel to the console
where the remote control box will be located - then add two
feet. This extra distance will allow for any errors in
measurement and ensure sufficient bend radius for smooth, easy
shifting. |
